Fundamentals

 Be Humble
-
Others first, yourself last. Self denial and deference to others are the cornerstone of good manners -acting selfish or uppity, is not. “After you,”

Be Courteous
-Remember the Golden Rule. Go out of your way to be helpful and kind to everyone you encounter.
And if you must, kill them with kindness

Behave Yourself
-If your Momma has to say “you weren’t raised like that”, you probably shouldn’t be doing it. After all, you weren’t raised like that.

Be Friendly
-Always put your best foot forward, whether it’s an acquaintance or a complete stranger. Be that person who “has never met a stranger.”

Be Modest
-Always practice modesty. Don’t “toot your own horn,” there are plenty of others who can do that for you.
